The 2009 Transportation Network Planning Study analyzes the Prince George road and transit system, and makes recommendations for system improvements to accommodate future neighbourhood developments and general city growth. Each recommendation is supported by Multiple Accounts Evaluation, which is a high-level economic analysis of the estimated costs, system benefits, and potential impacts of the recommended projects. The study is based on a computer simulation model created using EMME software. This study updates the previous system study from 2001.
