100th Anniversary Celebration Select Committee


The purpose of the Select Committee on Prince George’s 100th Anniversary Celebration is to make recommendations and provide advice to Council regarding Prince George’s 100th Anniversary Celebration, which will occur in 2015. The committee will develop a schedule of events, a communication plan and a budget for Council approval. The committee will also coordinate 100th Anniversary Celebration activities and research and make recommendations to Council for funding opportunities.

The Committee meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 12:00 pm in City Hall.


100th Anniversary Grants

We would like to thank all the groups that plan to celebrate the City's 100th Anniversary. It is the community volunteer groups that have served our community over the last 100 years that have made Prince George a wonderful place to work, live and play. The following groups are planning special activities and projects and were successful in applying for financial support. Watch the website and the media for dates, times and details.
