Booking Ice Time/Arena Use Application

Contact Community Arenas Coordinator Jessie Jamias at 250.561.7761 or jjamias@city.pg.bc.ca  to book arenas, or ice for your group to play hockey, practice your figure skating skills, plan a corporate fun night or a fun skate for kids.

Please complete the below Arena Application and return to Community Arenas Division (located in the CN Centre). Please note, forms will be denied and returned to sender if not completed in full.

Adult Drop In Hockey

This popular co-ed, non-contact hockey program is back again for another season. Bring your skates and hockey equipment and come prepared for a fun workout. The drop-in fee is $8.00, a punch card is $70.00 for 10 sessions.

*Full Hockey gear is required in order to play

2013 - 2014 Season:

  • Monday-Thursday: Sep. 30 - Dec. 19,   12 noon to 1:30pm in Kin 2
  • Monday-Thursday: Jan. 6 -    Mar. 20,   12 noon to 1:30pm in Kin 2

UPDATE: 
**Last day of Drop-In Hockey this season will be Thursday March 20, 2014

Drop-In hockey will not run on Fridays for the 2013 - 2014 Season.

Adult Summer Hockey League

Here's an opportunity for hockey enthusiasts to participate in a summer ice hockey league. The League is open to anyone 16 years or older and will run from July to August 2013. This non-contact program will feature 1.5 hour ice times.

    Recreation Division and Fun Division
  • 8 games for each team, approximately once per week
  • 2 referees and a timekeeper at each game
  • Team and individual statistics will be kept and made available to teams and the media at www.recsms.com
          Fees

Register a team or as an individual. The cost per team is $1500.00 (includes Tax). $1000.00 is payable at the time of registration and the balance of $500.00 is payable in full one week prior to first ice time. Individuals can register at a cost of $110 (includes Tax) payable in full at the time of registration.

Registration is now closed. Registration will take place at City Hall, Service Centre, PG Aquatic Centre or the Four Seasons Pool from April 7 - June 20, 2014.

Here's an opportunity for hockey enthusiasts to participate in Spring Roller Hockey league. The League is open to anyone 16 years or older and will run through May and June 2013.

    Recreation Division and Fun Division
  • 14 games for each team, approximately twice per week
  • 2 referees and a timekeeper at each game
  • Team and individual statistics will be kept and made available to teams and the media at www.recsms.com  Fees

Register as a team or as an individual. The cost per team is $1200.00 (includes Tax). $1000.00 is payable at the time of registration and the balance of $200.00 is payable in full one week prior to first ice time. Individuals can register at a cost of $120 (includes Tax) payable in full at the time of registration.

Registration is now closed. Registration took place at City Hall, Service Centre, PG Aquatic Centre or the Four Seasons Pool from April 7 - April 25, 2014.

Community Arena Advertising

We offer affordable and effective advertising opportunities in the Kin Centre and Elksentre arenas.

Elksentre, Kin 2 and Kin 3 have wall board advertising opportunities. Kin 2 now has Rink Board advertising spaces available.

People in Motion - Walking Program

Walk your way to better health! No admission fees make this an affordable opportunity to get fit and stay in shape. Join us for free walking in the CN Center ad the PG Coliseum from October to mid-April. Walking is available until Masich Stadium re-opens in mid-April.

Monthly Walking Schedule for CN Centre

In both the Coliseum and CN Centre facilities, walking only is permitted. No running, roller blades, skateboards, etc.
Please do not leave personal belongings unattended.

Coliseum Concourse

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 2:00pm
October - until April 11th, 2014
Closed Saturdays and Sundays
Closed for Christmas

5 laps = 1 km and 8 laps = 1 mile

CN Centre Concourse

Monday - Sunday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
October 15, 2013 - until April 11th, 2014

The CN Centre will remain open in April, if the Masich Place Stadium track is still covered with snow or ice.

The building closes for walking at 11:00am on Cougars game days and Cariboo Cougars game days

3.5 laps = 1 km and 5.7 laps = 1 mile
