The City of Prince George and the Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport are proud to announce the opening of the new ActNow BC Senior’s Community Park that brings the gym to the great outdoors!

“I am glad to see our province and our City investing in the health and wellness of older adults and the Senior’s Community Park is a great start”, Sharon Hurd, President, Prince George Council of Seniors.

ActNow BC Senior’s Community Park is a state-of-the-art outdoor facility located on Massey Drive, adjacent to Masich Place Stadium. The fitness stations are designed for Senior’s and are a compliment to the walking opportunities at the Masich Place Stadium Track

The fitness equipment emphasizes flexibility and strength-building, using isometric exercises to strengthen muscles and increase stamina and balance. The circuit is designed for all levels of users, from the beginner to advanced, and each station offers varying levels of difficulty.
