Location: Cranbrook Hill and Kueng Road Forest for the World

Forests for the World is located minutes from downtown and has over 15km of trails that are perfect for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. A short hike up to the main lookout will give you a great view of the City. Enjoy a break at Shane Lake and experience one of BC's great places to picnic. Shane Lake has been chosen as a suitable urban lake to develop a recreational fishery for local residents and tourists for a trial. This lake has become one of the Provinces "Family Fishing Waters", providing easy access to sport fishing opportunities within the city. The Shane Lake project is part of a larger initiative to boost sport fishing participation in the region.
