The P.G. Aquatic Centreand Four Seasons Leisure Poolprovides accessibility features ensuring customers with disabilities are not inhibited from an enjoyable pool experience. Care providers are admitted into the facility free of charge when in the accompaniment of a customer with special needs.
Each facility is equipped with large changing facilities, water wheel chair and chair lift providing uninterrupted pool access. The P.G. Aquatic Centre provides additional change room features for customers with special needs ensuring easy pool access and an enjoyable aquatic experience. Adapted Aquatic Sunday Swim
An Active Lifestyle = Improved Quality of Life!
The Aquatic Division in partnership with Red Cross offers a free swim on Sunday mornings at Four Seasons Leisure pool. This swim is free for anyone who has a disability and their immediate family. The free Sunday swim runs October – May from 10:00am – 11:30am.

Did you know that any person assisting an individual with special needs who needs support is admitted free of charge to City recreation facilities? This does not include a personal or rehabilitation trainer.
Program and recreation leaders at both the Family Y and the Child Development Centre have participated in specialized training to ensure their programs are accessible by all children and youth, regardless of ability.
