Purpose of HearingApplicantLocation
The subject application proposes to rezone the subject property in order to facilitate a residential subdivision. In addition, the Home Business Overlay will be removed from the subject properties to mitigate impacts associated with the Home Business 3
designation including a greater number of permitted employees, traffic, and storage. The proposed bylaw applies to the properties legally described as Lot 1, District Lot 4376, Cariboo District, Plan 14517, Except Plans 20750 and 22568,
Lot A, District Lot 4376, Cariboo District, Plan EPP58799 and Lot B, District Lots 4221, 4376, and 7634, Cariboo District, Plan 22568, Except Plan PGP41961.

Pursuant to section 40 of the Community Charter, the City of Prince George intends to close 0.405 hectares of road dedicated on Survey Plan of Block C, District Lot 748, Cariboo District, as shown outlined in bold red on the location map below.
The purpose of this application is to sell that closed portion of road to the adjacent owner, Prince George Global Logistics Park Inc. The proposed closure provides the owner with the ability to consolidate that part of road with their adjacent property
to prepare for future development along South Boundary Road.
Pursuant to section 40 of the Community Charter, the City of Prince George intends to close that portion of highway dedicated on Plan 1268, District Lot 343, Cariboo District, and Plan BCP33643, District Lot 343, Cariboo District,
and remove its highway dedication as shown outlined in red on the location map below. The purpose of this application is to facilitate the consolidation of the road with the adjacent lands being Lot 4, District Lot 343, Cariboo District, Plan 34806
Except: Part Dedicated Road on Plan BCP33643 and to provide additional hospital patron parking.
Development Variance Permit No. VP100446 proposes to vary “Schedule B” of “City of Prince George Sign Bylaw No. 7202, 2001” as follows:
i. Vary “Table 1” to permit three (3) Facia Signs; and
ii. Vary “Table 2” to increase the maximum total square meters of a Sign area per site from 4 m2 to 4.8 m2.
These variances apply only to the three (3) Facia Signs. The purpose of this application is to allow Northern Lights Estate Winery to install three (3) Facia Signs on the existing winery building and increase the maximum total Sign area of an
AR2: Rural Residential zone from 4 m2 to 4.8 m2 . This application applies to the property legally described as Lot 1, District Lot 2166, Cariboo District, Plan EPP43658.

Development Variance Permit No. VP100453 proposes to vary Section 4.1 “Roof Sign, Integral” of “City of Prince George Sign Bylaw No. 7202, 2001” by increasing the maximum vertical extension above the roof line for a “Roof Sign, Integral” from 1 metre
4.97 metres, as shown on Exhibit “A”. The variance will permit the installation of a “Roof Sign, Integral” for a new restaurant located at 1230 4th Avenue.
Liquor License Application No. LL100134 proposes to extend the hours of liquor service for a new restaurant , Kask Taproom and Eatery past midnight on Fridays and Saturdays until 3:00 a.m. Notice of City Council’s decision will be forwarded to
the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch for their review and final determination on the application.

Development Variance Permit No. VP100449 proposes to waive “Table 1” of the “City of Prince George Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw No. 8618, 2014” as follows:
a. Waive the requirement of providing the following works along North Nechako Road:
i. Portland cement concrete curb and gutter; and
ii. City storm runoff collection system for the road network including service laterals.
