Recruitment and Retention Tools

The Economic Development team offers the following resources to support local employers and their efforts to attract and retain new employees. Contact Economic Development at 250-561-7633 for more information. The Move Up Prince George website is one of these resources. Employers can post their jobs to the website for free and can use the website to promote Prince George to potential employees.

2019 Workforce Analysis

The August 2019 Workforce Analysis report presents a comprehensive study intended to inform and support local businesses and the City of Prince George in growing and strengthening the local workforce.

The report offers a detailed overview of the existing workforce situation as well as recommendations that will support greater alignment of supply and demand, information about best and promising practices for talent attraction and retention that can be used by local businesses, and strategies to retain post-secondary graduates.
