The Advisory Committee on Accessibility advises and assists the City of Prince George Council, staff, and committees in developing and facilitating strategies and actions towards the development and maintenance of a barrier-free community, with the goal of improving the quality of life for all individuals.
The Committee consists of nine citizens appointed by Council and one ex-officio Council member appointee. The membership is a cross-representation of individuals with disabilities and service providers familiar with accessibility issues.
