Responsibilities
The Prince George Heritage Commission advises in matters regarding the protection, conservation, and interpretation of heritage resources within the community by supporting, encouraging, and helping with their proper conservation, maintenance, and restoration.
The Committee consists of nine volunteer citizens appointed by Council.

This award is presented annually in recognition of the significant places in the history, growth and identity of Prince George.
