The City has been working with community leaders across sectors to co-design an evaluation framework to measure outcomes and impacts of our efforts to enhance safety, cleanliness, and social inclusion in the downtown. This initiative has been unfolding since January 2022 and is focused on bringing together diverse community organizations and individuals to determine required changes and important next steps.
We have completed three phases of work so far, including two in-person workshops held in March 2022 and two follow-up virtual workshops hosted in May 2022. We are now in Phase Four of the project which consists of “evaluation sprints” to test and refine the evaluation framework. The City is asking for public input to help inform decision-making and resource allocation for City downtown cleanliness, safety, and inclusion services.
