Do you know a building, site, cultural landscape, view, or other heritage resource that you believe should be included on the City's Heritage Register? If so, we invite you to complete the heritage nomination form.
Education and Information Session
Throughout August, the Prince George Heritage Commission will host information sessions related to Prince George heritage at the schoolhouse at Exploration Place on Thursdays and Saturdays. Times may vary and will be posted here as the dates/times are confirmed.
Thursday, August 1, 2025 - 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Exploration Place is located in the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park - 333 Becott Place.
Responsibilities
The Prince George Heritage Commission advises in matters regarding the protection, conservation, and interpretation of heritage resources within the community by supporting, encouraging, and helping with their proper conservation, maintenance, and restoration.
Meetings
Meetings are held quarterly in March, June, September, and December on the 2nd Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Review Meetings, Agendas & Minutes for details on upcoming meetings.
