Notice of traffic and pedestrian network disruptions - August 1, 2024

2828 Calhoun Cres between Baker Rd and Calhoun Pl

• Will have no through access, Thursday, August 1^st from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for a water service repair.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have through access.

336 McIntyre Cres

• Will have no through access, Thursday, August 1^st from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for a water service repair.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have through access.

7^th across from City Hall

• Westbound land and sidewalk will be closed, Thursday, August 1^st to Friday August 2^nd from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm for Sidewalk replacement.
• Emergency vehicles WILL access.

Lethbridge Street between 12^th Avenue and Laurier Crescent

• Will be closed, Monday, July 29^th from 6:30 am to Saturday, August 10^th at 5:00 pm for a staging area for mobile cranes & trucks to facilitate the erection of the tower crane and to accommodate trucks & equipment for backfilling the concrete crane pad.
• Detours will be in place.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

3^rd Ave between Queensway and Ontario St

• Will be closed, 24hrs, Wednesday, July 31st to Monday, August 19^th for a watermain project.
• Detours required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Intersection of 3^rd Ave and Queensway - Right Lane Northbound

• Will have one northbound lane on Queensway closed, 24hrs, Wednesday, July 31st to Monday, August 19^th for a watermain project.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Southridge Avenue (Wal Mart) between Marleau Road and Yellowhead Highway

• Will be single lane, Monday, July 29^th to Saturday, August 3^rd from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for resurfacing of the asphalt.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

1490 Buchanan Ave

• Will have minor traffic disruptions, Thursday, August 1^st, from 7:30am to 5:00pm for Roger Communications repairs.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Wildwood Cres by Sussex Lane

• Will have no through access, Thursday, August 1^st, from 7:30am to 5:00pm for excavation and trenching to install duct work for BC Hydro.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

3^rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway Blvd

• Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 4^th until the fall from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Wilson Square Community Farmers’ Market.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

Quebec Street between 2^nd and 3^rd Avenue & 3rd Avenue between Quebec Street and Dominion Street

• Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 18^th until the fall from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm for the Prince George Farmers’ Market.
• Detours required.
• Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

Carney Street between Ellison Drive and 15^th Avenue

• Will experience minor traffic disruption, Tuesday, July 23^rd to Wednesday, August 14^th for new sidewalk & curb installations.
• Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

1215 Lethbridge Street from the south end of Lethbridge to the north end of Lethbridge Street

• Pedestrian traffic and parking will be closed for the construction of the new parkade, from Friday, June 14^th to May 2025. Pedestrian re-routing will take place. Traffic will not be affected.

Ferguson Lake Road, North of Edward Road

• A bridge has been put up over the washout, asking for local and Emergency traffic only at this time. 

Quebec Street between 6^th Avenue and 7^th Avenue

• 6^th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed.
