Foothills Boulevard between Austin Road West and Chief Lake Road

  • Will be single lane alternating, Friday, September 27th from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for 2 holes to be drilled on the shoulder of each lane.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

3056 Christopher Crescent

  • Will be closed, Friday, September 27th from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm for a water service repair.
  • Detours required.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Rainbow Drive between Ospika Boulevard and Kerry Street

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Friday, September 27th from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for the replacement of a damaged service vault.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Kerry Street between Inez Crescent and Lacoma Street

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Friday, September 27th from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for the replacement of a damaged service vault.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Hart Highway Frontage Road between Austin Road and Turner Road trail

  • Will experience closures, Friday, September 27th to Friday, November 15th for the installation of a new storm sewer main and manholes.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Lethbridge Street between 12th Avenue and Laurier Crescent

  • Will be closed, Monday, September 23rd to Friday, September 27th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for a staging area for concrete trucks & pump.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Quebec Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue & 3rd Avenue between Quebec Street and Dominion Street

  • Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 18th until the fall from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm for the Prince George Farmers’ Market
  • Detours required.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

3rd Avenue between George Street and Queensway Boulevard

  • Will be closed, every Saturday, starting May 4th until the fall from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm for the Wilson Square Community Farmers’ Market
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

The following intersections will experience minor traffic disruptions, Sunday, September 29th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for the Toy Run

  • 18th Avenue @ CN Centre
  • 18th Avenue & Foothills Roundabout
  • 15th Avenue & Foothills Blvd
  • Foothills Blvd & North Nechako Road
  • Foothills Blvd & Highland Drive
  • Kelly Road & Austin Road
  • Kelly Road & Handlen Road
  • Kelly Road & Chief Lake Frontage Road
  • Chief Lake Road & Sabyam Road
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Bear Road and Deer Road Intersection

  • Will be single lane alternating, Wednesday, September 25th to Monday, September 30th from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for crush to be put down on road patches in preparation for paving.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Queensway between 19th Avenue and 17th Avenue

  • The northbound slow lane will be closed, Monday, September 16th to Monday, September 30th for removal of a curb and installation of a driveway at Volkswagon.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Central Street West between 15th Avenue and Highway 97 offshoot.

  • Will be closed, Tuesday, October 1st & Wednesday, October 2nd from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for BC Hydro to install a pole.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

John Hart Bridge – Southbound lanes

  • Will be single lane, 24 hours, Tuesday, October 1st to Tuesday, October 8th for the installation of a new sanitary forcemain.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

2nd Avenue/Crossing Street between Victoria Street and Vancouver Street

  • The left, westbound lane & sidewalk, will be closed, Tuesday, October 1st to Tuesday, October 15th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for the replacement of the sidewalk.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Southridge Avenue between St Anne Crescent and St Lawrence Avenue

  • Will be closed, Wednesday, October 2nd from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for the paving of a road patch.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

5th Avenue and Ahbau Street Intersection

  • The westbound, fast lane & the eastbound, fast lane & turn lane will be closed, Wednesday, October 2nd from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm for a traffic pole replacement.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Ospika Boulevard between McDermid Drive and Ayr Place

  • The northbound lane remains closed, Monday, September 23rd to Friday, October 4th for the installation of a new water main.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

Ontario Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue

  • Will be closed, 24hrs, Thursday, September 12th to Friday, October 4th for the installation of a new watermain.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Ontario Street between 2nd Avenue and 4th Avenue

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Thursday, September 12th to Friday, October 4th for the watermain project.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

 

3rd Ave between Queensway and Ontario St

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Thursday, September 12th to Friday, October 4th for the watermain project.
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access.

  • Will be closed, 24 hours, Wednesday, October 9th to Thursday, October 24th for the installation of a new sanitary forcemain.
  • Detours will be in place.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Hammond Avenue Alleyway between Kelly Street and Hammond Avenue

  • Will be intermittently closed, Monday August 26th to Thursday, October 31st for the installation of a new sanitary forcemain.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.

 

Underside of John Hart Bridge

  • Pedestrian & bike paths are closed, Monday, September 16th to Saturday, December 7th from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Detours will be in place.

 

1215 Lethbridge Street from the south end of Lethbridge to the north end of Lethbridge Street

  • Pedestrian traffic and parking will be closed for the construction of the new parkade, from Friday, June 14th to May 2025. Pedestrian re-routing will take place. Traffic will not be affected.

 

Quebec Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue

  • 6th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed.
