Vacancies: 

Three (3) positions available for a one-year term: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025



Four (4) positions available for a two-year term: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026

About this Opportunity:  

This committee meets quarterly in January, April, July, and October on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.



The committee is responsible for providing advice to Mayor and Council and City staff on the identification, removal, and prevention of physical, social and attitudinal barriers to individuals in or interacting with the City of Prince George or which impedes the full participation of all citizens in every aspect of community life.



The Committee consists of up to nine citizens appointed by Council. The membership is a cross-representation of individuals with disabilities, those who support individuals with disabilities, or individuals with an interest and/or experience in the relation to diversity and inclusion and reflects the diversity of persons in Prince George.
