Residents can expect a temporary interruption to water service starting at 7 p.m. on January 23 that will last approximately six hours. Crews will begin excavation at 5 p.m. and work through the night to lessen any stress the water interruption may cause. Residents can prepare for the outage by filling pots and jugs with water for cooking and drinking and filling bathtubs with water for flushing the toilet with a bucket. A toilet will flush when approximately four litres of water is poured into the bowl. The City would like to thank area residents for their patience and understanding while crews work to repair the water main.
