Cart Credit

A Cart Credit will be issued for residents who do not want a cart physically stored on their property. Residents will still be billed for the equivalent of a small garbage cart charge.

Applicant Information

The above applicant hereby applies for a Cart Credit and agrees to the following conditions:

  • The property is within the residential utility billing area and subject to the garbage collection fee, the owner does not wish to use, or store a collection cart on the property
  • The owner of the property acknowledges that residential garbage collection by the City of Prince George will be discontinued from this address
  • The owner of this property will be billed at the small cart rate for annual garbage collection fees, with cart credit indicated on the invoice
  • The owner is entitled to a cart with the automated garbage collection service, and must notify the City in writing if they require a cart when they wish to resume residential garbage collection by the City for Prince George
