  Bylaw Enforcement Services

Bylaw Enforcement Officers enforce the provisions of bylaws such as property maintenance, controlled substance property (i.e. grow-op), noise, zoning, water sprinkling regulations and clean air (residential burning).

Bylaw Officers are generally available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Monday to Friday, however, officers do work a variety of shifts between 8:00 am to midnight 7 days a week.

Property Owners are responsible for keeping their property (whether rented or owner occupied) free from the accumulation of rubbish, garbage, wrecked vehicles, or any discarded materials of any kind.

Property owners are also responsible for adequately maintaining the buildings and other structures on the property in a good workmanlike manner and condition.  In addition, property owners shall keep all yards free from excessive growth of weeds and grasses and generally maintained in a manner consistent with surrounding properties.
