- Red Band - Children 6 years and under MUST be accompanied and closely supervised within arm's reach by a responsible person 16 years and older. A lifejacket is required for non-swimmers when swimming past chest deep water. A maximum of 3 children per responsible person 16 years and older is required. A Red band is recommended for adults who are non-swimmers.
- Yellow Band - Children 7-9 years who cannot swim comfortably in deep water must remain in shallow water. A lifejacket is required when swimming past chest deep water.
- Green Band - Children 7-9 years who can swim comfortably in deep water.
If unsure of your swimming ability, ask the lifeguard for a swim test.
Children 7-9 years must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years and older unless able to meet the swimming requirement for a Green Wrist Band
- Swimming before or after lessons is two (2) dollars plus tax
- Online payments require a valid credit card.
- In person payments are made by cash, credit or debit at the Canfor Leisure Pool or P.G. Aquatic Centre.
- A one (1) month & ten (10) visit pass requires full payment.
- A three, six or twelve (3, 6, 12) month pass requires full payment or monthly scheduled payments.
- All scheduled payments for a swim pass requires a valid credit card administered through automatic withdrawal. An invalid credit card for scheduled payments will result in an automatic pass cancellation.
- A one (1) month pass may be cancelled at any time.
- A three (3 ) month pass requires one (1) full months usage before cancellation.
- A six (6) month pass requires two (2) full months usage before cancellation.
- A twelve (12) month pass requires three (3) months full usage before cancellation.
- Pass cancellations are pro-rated providing either a credit balance on account or a cheque refund.
- Pass plans with an outstanding balance greater than seven (7) days will be cancelled and the debit balance must be paid in full prior to future transactions.
- Back-dating cancellations is not permitted.
- Customers who cancel their pass on the same day of a scheduled auto payment may have their credit card charged. If this occurs, a credit balance will be applied to the client account.
- Aquatic pass plans may be placed on hold for a minimum of one (1) week, up to a maximum of three (3) consecutive months in any calendar year at no charge.
- A hold request application form must be submitted a minimum of one (1) week prior to the start of the hold period.
- Back-dating hold requests are not permitted.
- An outstanding balance must be paid prior to a pass being placed on hold.
- All swimming lessons must be paid in full at the time of registration.
- Lesson cancellations and refunds require a minimum of forty eight (48) hours notice prior to the first day of lessons.
- Birthday Party cancellations and refunds require a minimum of seven days notice.
- Refunds will be placed as a credit on the client account.
- Aquatic staff reserve the right to cancel or combine swimming lessons prior to the first day of lessons.
- Private lessons require a minimum of forty eight (48) hours notice for cancellation and refund.
- Private lessons do not include a swimming lesson badge/card and is sold separately.
- Third party billing is available to organizations that have provided written consent.
- Swimming before or after lessons is two (2) dollars plus tax.
