A library board is required to manage operations of a municipal library. Members of the City of Prince George Library Board are appointed by City Council to manage the provision of library services in the community and members and their successors are considered a corporation with powers and duties given by the Library Act.
The Board consists of nine members including one Council members.
Library Board Recruitment
The Prince George Public Library Board is currently accepting applications for volunteer members to serve a two(2)-year term beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2020.
DEADLINE: Friday, November 16, 2018 at 5:00pm
Committee members are residents of Prince George who volunteer their time to establish the library's policies, goals, and objectives and advocate for the library in the greater community. The current committee members are:
