Library Board Volunteer Recruitment
The Library Board is currently accepting applications for five (5) volunteer members to serve:
- Three (3) volunteers for two-year terms from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021.
- Two (2) interim volunteers to serve the remainder of the current term ending December 31, 2020.
Applications will be accepted until
Friday, October 25, 2019 at 5:00pm.

A library board is required to manage operations of a municipal library. Members of the City of Prince George Library Board are appointed by City Council to manage the provision of library services in the community and members and their successors are considered a corporation with powers and duties given by the Library Act.
The Board consists of nine members including one Council members.
Committee members are residents of Prince George who volunteer their time to establish the library's policies, goals, and objectives and advocate for the library in the greater community. The current committee members are:
