Seasonal jobs

Seasonal workers support full-time staff in areas such as parks, road operations, and utility maintenance. All seasonal employees are eligible for the municipal pension and benefits. Seasonal positions are posted in February for summer positions and in September for winter positions.

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Unrestricted Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
- One year of experience.
- Driver's abstract showing a safe driving record.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Unrestricted Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
- One year of experience operating equipment safely.
- Completion of Grade 10 or GED.
- Unrestricted Class 5 driver's licence and a safe driving record.
- Previous general labouring experience.
- Temporary summer jobs are also available (ideal for students).
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Three years of experience with turf construction and repair.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Three years of experience in concrete finishing work.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Two years of experience in fundamental carpentry or concrete practises.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Completion of a course related to the trade from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Three years of experience.
