Community association program registration
Check out the Winter 2024/2025 Community Association Recreation Guide for a full list of community association programs and information on how to register.
Community association recreation
One of the ways the City of Prince George delivers recreation is through community associations that offer recreation programming, activities and events throughout our City. Community associations are volunteers that provide low cost and neighbourhood recreation programs and services in Prince George. Community associations are always looking for volunteers to run programs in the neighbourhood school gym, local sport field or the community outdoor ice rink.

Community association outdoor ice rink program
Did you know that there are 28 community outdoor ice rinks throughout Prince George supported and maintained by your community association volunteers! The City supports these outdoor ice rinks by providing grants, training volunteers and installing ice rink boards at requested locations. Ice rink volunteers put in countless hours to flood and maintain these outdoor ice rinks. These rinks are maintained by volunteers and are unsupervised. Protective equipment are strongly recommended when on the ice.
For more information and locations check out the Arenas and Skating webpage.
