Wildfire Emergency Operations Finished
Emergency operations for the 2018 northern B.C. wildfires have ended. Most evacuation alerts and orders have been lifted or rescinded by their respective communities and those evacuees have returned home.
Since the majority of the last evacuees departed Prince George on Friday, September 7, the Kin Centre Emergency Reception Centre has concluded operations.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THE CITY CANNOT BACK-DATE SUPPORT SERVICES AND RENEWALS.
The City of Prince George wishes to thank volunteers, staff, and all organisations involved in assisting the 3,000 evacuees hosted in the city during August, 2018.
