FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. - Applications are being accepted for the City of Prince George myPG Community Grant now until October 15 at 4:30 p.m.

The myPG Community Grant assists not-for-profit (NFP) organizations in implementing new or enhancing current projects that contribute to making Prince George a great community. This includes projects that align with the city's goals of increasing community pride, encouraging health and wellness, fostering social connections, promoting arts and culture, and ensuring equity and inclusion.

Eligible projects can be large or small (grants typically range from $2500 to $8000). Applications are evaluated based on alignment with the grant criteria and eligibility, value for investment (i.e., budget details) and other considerations including Council’s interest in financially supporting a variety of organizations and initiatives.

New for the fall intake:

To simplify the application process, organizations are now required to create an account to apply for a myPG grant. More information about the myPG grant, including how to apply and eligibility requirements, can be found on the City website.
