Prince George, B.C. – The City of Prince George invites the community to a free screening of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 this Friday, September 12. Movie Under the Stars will take place at 7:30 p.m. or at dusk at Ron Brent Park.
Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy the flick as it is projected onto a giant inflatable movie screen. Confirmed food vendors Dirty Pop (serving soda and popcorn) and Risen Sourdough Donuts will satisfy both salty and sweet cravings. Toilets and security will be on site to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
“Parks and recreation staff have worked hard this summer on a number of great events in our parks and green spaces from Movie Under the Stars to Canada Day, which have helped to build community and activate our beautiful outdoor spaces,” said parks recreation supervisor, Robyn McConkey, “we encourage everyone to join us for one of our final park events of the season this Friday!”
