FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prince George, B.C. – At 5:40 p.m. on September 20, Prince George Fire Rescue was alerted of a possible structure fire in the 4800 block of 1st Avenue.
Crews from three halls responded and found smoke coming from the gable ends of the residence. Crews found fire in the attic space and were able to extinguish the blaze quickly, containing it to the area of origin.
No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $40,000 and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
