FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prince George, B.C. - At approximately 1:00 a.m. on June 20, Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to a reported structure fire in the 2000 block of McGill Crescent.
First arriving crews found smoke and flames coming from the roof of the residential structure.
Fire crews acted quickly to confine the fire to the area of origin to stop the spread of the fire.
All occupants of the home made it out safely and there were no reported injuries to any firefighters or members of the public.
Damage is estimated at $25,000 and the cause is under investigation.
