Fire Rescue media release: Sooke Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. – Just before 7:30 a.m. on April 28, Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to the 4900 block of Sooke Road for a residential structure fire. 

Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage and attic area of the home. Fire crews initiated an offensive interior attack and quickly knocked the fire down. Emergency support services were deployed to accommodate the displaced residents. 

There were no injuries reported. Damage is estimated at $250,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
