NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the City of Prince George (the “City”) intends to consider adopting “City of Prince George Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Bylaw No. 8098, 2008, Amendment Bylaw No. 9487, 2024” at its regular meeting scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, BC.
Bylaw No. 9487, 2024, if adopted, would amend “City of Prince George Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Bylaw No. 8098, 2008” as follows:
1. Update the position titled referenced within the definition of “authorized person";
2. Replace reference to “City of Prince George Business Regulation and Licensing Bylaw No. 7851” with “City of Prince George Business Regulation and Licensing Bylaw No. 9040, 2020” within the definition of “licence” and in section 2.6 of the Bylaw regulating the business of buying, selling, or taking in pawn any second-hand property.
