TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of Section 26 and 94 of the Community Charter, the City of Prince George (the “City”) proposes to dispose of an interest in the following land to His Majesty the King in Right of the Province of British Columbia, as represented by the Minister of Citizens’ Services (“MCS”):
PID’s: 005-730-465, 005-730-473, 005-730-589, and 005-730-597
Lots 16, 17, 18 and 19 Block 20 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268
(the “Lands”), having a civic address of 1380 2nd Avenue, Prince George, BC, as shown outlined in yellow on this notice.
The proposed disposition is for the lease (the “Lease”) of the Lands, and the building located on the Lands, between the City and MCS. The Lease will commence on February 1, 2025, and will expire on January 31, 2030, with an option to extend where mutually agreeable for four (4) consecutive renewal terms of five (5) years. The consideration to be received by the City of Prince George, encompassing the initial term, is rent in the amount of $497,475.00.
