TAKE NOTICE that Pursuant to Section 26(3) of the Community Charter, the City of Prince George (the “City”) proposes to dispose of an interest in the following land to the Provincial Rental Housing Corporation:
- PID 004-601-408 Amended Lot 7 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268;
- PID 004-601-416 Amended Lot 8 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268;
- PID 004-601-424 Amended Lot 9 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268;
- PID 004-601-441 Amended Lot 10 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268;
- PID 004-601-459 Amended Lot 11 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268; and
- PID 004-601-491 Amended Lot 12 (74685M) Block 170 District Lot 343 Cariboo District Plan 1268;
(the "Lands"), having a civic address of 650 Dominion Street, Prince George, BC, as shown outlined in yellow line on the map on this notice.
The proposed disposition is the extension of a lease (the “Lease”) of the Lands and the building located on the Lands between the current registered owner and the Provincial Rental Housing Corporation which Lease is set to expire on March 31, 2024. The extended term of the Lease will commence on March 31, 2024, following the City’s acquisition of title to the Lands, and will expire on March 30, 2026, with an option on the part of the tenant to extend the Lease for a further term of six months. The consideration to be received by the City of Prince George is rent in the amount of $47,250.00 per month.
