Public Notice: Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw

Pursuant to Community Charter section 227, notice is hereby given that Prince George City Council will consider “City of Prince George Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 9429, 2023” at their regular meeting on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, BC.
Bylaw No. 9429 proposes property tax exemptions for a term of four (4) years (2024-2027) for the properties shown below. The estimated value of municipal permissive property tax exemptions are shown for the years 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027. The tax exemptions shown are proposed in accordance with Section 224 of the Community Charter for properties that are owned or held by a charitable, philanthropic, or other not-for-profit corporation, and that Council considers are used for a purpose that is directly related to the purposes of the municipality.
