Pursuant to section 227 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that Prince George City Council will consider final reading and adoption of “City of Prince George Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 9504, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 9583, 2025” at their regular meeting on October 20, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, BC.
Bylaw No. 9583 proposes property tax exemptions for a term of two (2) years (2026-2027) for the properties shown on the attached notice [HERE]. The estimated value of municipal permissive property tax exemptions are shown for the years 2026 and 2027. The tax exemptions shown are proposed in accordance with Section 224 of the Community Charter for properties that are owned or held by a charitable, philanthropic, or other not-for-profit corporation, and that Council considers are used for a purpose that is directly related to the purposes of the municipality.
