Pursuant to section 9(1) of “City of Prince George Council Procedures Bylaw No. 8388, 2011”, a special closed meeting of Council is scheduled to be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at
3:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, BC.
The special meeting is closed to the public to permit discussion of items relating to:
- information that is prohibited, or information that if it were presented in a document
would be prohibited, from disclosure under section 21 of the Freedom of Information and
Protection of Privacy Act. - the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council
considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interest of the
municipality. - the consideration of whether the authority under section 91 [other persons attending
closed meetings] should be exercised in relation to a council meeting. - the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations
between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government, or both,
or between a provincial government or the federal government, or both, and a third party.
