Prince George, B.C. – Get ready to celebrate the holiday season at the 29th Annual Civic Light Up, happening this Wednesday, November 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Canada Games Plaza (808 Canada Games Way).
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with exciting activities for the whole family, live entertainment, and the festive Plaza Light Up at 7:10 p.m.
Here’s what to look forward to:
- Plaza Light Up at 7:10 p.m.
- Fireworks Show at 7:15 p.m.
- Live entertainment throughout the evening
- Face painting
- Crafts with the Prince George Public Library
- Street hockey with the Prince George Spruce Kings
- Skating in the Plaza (the new ice rink and trailer market created by Tourism PG is ready to go!)
- Holiday treats, hot chocolate, and food trucks
- Mascots and a special visit from Santa
Don’t forget to visit the Spirit of the North’s 31st Festival of Trees inside the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre. Admission is $5 at the door, and the festival runs from November 27 to December 1.
