Monahan Crescent between Mcgill Crescent and Monahan PLace

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Thursday, October 6th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for storm main relining. 
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access. 

     

Penn Road between Rock Island Road and Willowcale Road 

  • Will be closed, 24 hours, from Monday, October 27th to Friday, November 6th for BC Hydro & Canada Post upgrades that require trenching. 
  • Detours will be in place. Local public access only via detours. 
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access. 

 

Ferry Avenue, between Yellowhead Highway and Spruce Street

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Monday, October 27th to Friday, November 7th from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for sidewalk rehabilitation. 
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access. 

 

Upland Street, between Ferry Avenue and Wilson Crescent 

  • Will experience minor traffic disruption, Monday, October 27th to Friday, November 7th from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for sidewalk rehabilitation. 
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access. 

 

1215 Lethbridge St.

  • Will be closed starting January 3rd until November 9th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to facilitate water, storm and sewer tie ins, backfill and paving of road.
  • Emergency vehicles will NOT have access

 

Lethbridge St. from the south end of Lethbridge St. to the north end of Lethbridge St.

  • Pedestrian traffic and parking are closed for the construction of the new parkade until Sunday, November 9th 
  • Pedestrian re-routing will take place. 
  • Traffic is not affected

 

Gauthier Road between Highway 16 West and Serle Road 

  • Will be single lane alternating, Tuesday, October 14th to Friday, November 14th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for the installation of four streetlights and the Canada Post mailbox pull out. 
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access. 

 

5th Ave., between Carney St. and Watrous St.

  • Will be closed eastbound in the curb lane Monday, October 27th until Monday, November 24th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for replacement of sidewalk
  • Sidewalks will be closed
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access

 

George Paul Lane, between 18th Ave. and 15th Ave.

  • Will be closed Saturday, November 29th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm for the Festival of Trees (Spirit of the North) Santa Parade
  • Detours will be required
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access

 

18th Ave., between George Paul Lane and Foothills Blvd.

  • Will be closed Saturday, November 29th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm for the Festival of Trees (Spirit of the North) Santa Parade
  • Detours will be required

  • Will be closed Saturday, November 29th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm for the Festival of Trees (Spirit of the North) Santa Parade

Foothills Blvd., between Cranbrook Hill Rd. and Ochakwin Cres.

  • The southbound lane and bike lane will be closed intermittently August 1, 2025, until July 31, 2026, from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm for loading and unloading of construction materials
  • Emergency vehicles WILL have access

 

Quebec St. between 6th Ave. and 7th Ave.

  • 6th Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed.
