FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. – A section of Tyner Boulevard will be closed to traffic from June 18 to June 20 while the City of Prince George completes stormwater work.

The work zone extends from west of the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) entrance at  Ceremonial Road to University Heights Drive. To access UNBC during this time, residents are asked to use University Way from Foothills Boulevard.

The work involves finalizing the storm main crossing and repairing two existing patches.

The path adjacent to the road will be closed to pedestrians with a detour route available on Rowe Street. Please see the BC Transit alerts page for up-to-date route information as transit will be impacted during this time.

The City asks people to exercise caution in and around the work zone and to pay attention to signage and directions from the construction crew.
