Prince George, B.C. - The City of Prince George will be closing a section of Southridge Avenue in College Heights tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17 for watermain utility work to be carried out.
The road closure will be between St Anne Avenue and St Lawrence Avenue and will commence at 7:30 a.m with detours in place down Vista Ridge Drive.
The closure is necessary as City crews need to undertake emergency watermain repairs in the area.
The City advises residents to exercise caution around the work zone and pay attention to signage and directions from the traffic control personnel. The City will coordinate with emergency services to ensure access for emergency vehicles.
A small number of residents will have their water turned off for the day, but those households impacted have been notified.
