Prince George, B.C. – The City of Prince George will close 15th Avenue at Johnson Street on Thursday, February 12 for a water service repair between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The closure will impact westbound traffic only. Sidewalk access will be available on the east side of 15th Avenue.
The work involves replacing a water service installed in the 1960s. Nearby properties may experience temporary changes in water pressure or sediment. The water is safe to drink, and residents are advised to run their taps until the water clears if discolored. Properties affected by water shutoffs will be notified in advance.
A detour will be in place along Johnson Street to 10th Avenue. Motorists are asked to follow posted signage and use caution near the work area.
