Anyone wondered what happened to the old firetruck from Lheidli T'enneh Memorial park? We are so proud to announce that it will find its new home at the Shell-Glen community park!
Join the Shell-Glen Improvement Society and our amazing co-hosts, Shell-Glen Fire Rescue on Sunday, August 10th, from 11 AM to 3 PM for a fantastic community celebration at 10640 Glenmary Rd!
This isn't just a piece of playground equipment; it's a cherished landmark that holds so many memories for generations. We're thrilled to give this special fire truck a new home in our park, ready for new adventures and countless smiles!
What to Expect:
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Be there as we officially welcome the fire truck to its new home!
Meet Your Local Heroes: The firefighters will be there, so you can meet these brave individuals and maybe even explore a real fire truck!
Delicious Hamburgers: Fuel up with tasty hamburgers available by donation. All proceeds will go directly back into community improvement projects such as this!
Fun for All Ages: Bring the whole family for an afternoon of community spirit and joy!
