Then join us on September 30 at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park for the community’s main day of learning, reflection, healing, and celebration. Beginning at 12 p.m., participants can choose between a Guided Reconciliation Walk or a community reading of the 94 Calls to Action. At 2 p.m., gather for a Ceremony & Celebration of Culture, including a Drum-In for Survivors, moments of reflection, and the voices of Survivors, Sixties Scoop Survivors, and youth. The afternoon will also celebrate Indigenous culture, resilience, and the future through song and dance.
This gathering is an opportunity to come together as a community to honour truth, listen, learn, reflect on our shared history, and continue walking the path toward reconciliation.
