Come play Spectrum Street Epistemology (SSE), also known as Reverse Q&A, with the Political Science Student Association (PSSA).
How it works:
Work as a group to come up with statements/questions you'd like to discuss. There will be 7 lines on the ground to create the “spectrum.” The lines represent responses:
- Strongly Agree
- Agree
- Slightly Agree
- Neutral
- Slightly Disagree
- Disagree
- Strongly Disagree
Everyone starts at Neutral, and when the statement is shared, participants move to their preferred answer. Everyone discusses their reasoning and what factors could potentially change their mind. It’s a unique way to engage with others and share ideas different from your own in a reflective and thought-provoking way.
