The mandate of the Prince George Heritage Commission is to protect, conserve and interpret the heritage resources within the City by supporting, encouraging, and facilitating their proper conservation, maintenance and restoration. The City of Prince George maintains a Heritage Register, which is an official listing of properties with heritage value.
All nominations are evaluated by the Heritage Commission. Nominations that satisfy the heritage resource evaluation criteria will be recommended to City Council for addition to the Heritage Register.
