Update, 8:30 a.m., July 15 – On July 14 at approximately 1 p.m., Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to a structure fire in the 2300 block of Quince Street.
First arriving crews found heavy smoke coming from the rear of a duplex and large flames exiting from a rear bedroom. Crews were able to quickly knock the fire out and prevent it from entering the adjoining residence. Due to the quick extinguishment, the residents of the adjoining suite were able to return to their home.
No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $300,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire Rescue crews are responding to a residential fire in the 2300 block of Quince Street.
Crews from three halls arrived before 2 p.m. to find one half of a duplex fully involved in fire. Quick work from crews prevented the spread of the fire to the other half of the structure.
Crews remain on site and will continue to monitor for hotspots. More information will be provided as soon as it is available.
