FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prince George, B.C. - On August 9 at approximately 9 p.m., Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls responded to a structure fire in the 2100 block of Redwood Street.
On arrival, crews found a small residential structure with smoke coming from the eaves. Crews located personal items on fire in the basement, which were quickly extinguished. There was no damage to the structure of the building, though smoke and water damage is estimated at $40,000.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
