FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. – Gym goers and regular users of Carrie Jane Gray Park will need to take an alternate route to their destination due to construction starting next week.

Del Laverdure Way will experience closures and traffic disruptions from August 17 until October 23 as crews install new water and sanitary sewer services for the future BMX and synthetic turf sites and a new conventional gravity sanitary sewer service to Ron Wiley field to replace the existing septic holding tanks. This work is part of the multi-year Carrie Jane Gray Park renewal project.

Access to Carrie Jane Gray Park and the YMCA will be limited to right in, right out maneuvers at the entrance near Carney Street. A temporary access road will be available behind the fire hall during the work period.
