Notice of Election by Voting and Advance Voting

Notice is given that voting will be held to elect one (1) Mayor and eight (8) Councillors for the City of Prince George as well as five (5) school trustees for School District 57 Board of Trustees. The following individuals have been nominated as candidates:

*Location of Residence represents the municipality, electoral area, or treaty lands in which the candidate is a resident per section 99(2)(b) of the Local Government Act. 

VOTING DAYS AND VOTING LOCATIONS

MAIL BALLOT VOTING - Mail ballot voting is available to eligible residents and non-resident property electors.

Request forms to vote by mail must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Completed mail ballots must be received by the Chief Election Officer before 8:00 p.m. on General Voting Day (Saturday, October 17, 2026).

VOTING REGISTRATION

All eligible electors may vote either by mail ballot, at an advance voting opportunity, or on general voting day.

Elector registration will take place at the time of voting. To vote, you must meet the qualifications of a resident elector or non-resident property elector under the Local Government Act and provide the required identification.
