Three Days Left to Vote in the 2026 Municipal Election

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prince George, B.C. – There are still three opportunities remaining to vote in the 2026 municipal election and the City of Prince George is encouraging residents to help shape the future of our community.

Eligible City of Prince George electors may vote at any City voting location. Voters are not assigned to a specific polling station and may choose the location that is most convenient for them.

To vote, bring two pieces of identification that together show your name, residential address, and signature. There is no pre-registration required and a reminder that no voter card is needed or provided in the municipal election.

“It is important that everyone who is eligible has the opportunity to vote and we are trying to make it as easy for residents as possible,” said Ethan Anderson, Chief Election Officer for the City of Prince George.

“Our hardworking election staff will be ready to help you over the next two days of advance voting and then all hands-on deck for Saturday.”
