The City of Prince George Economic Development Strategy was developed to provide a clear, coordinated framework for advancing economic growth, diversification, and investment over the coming years, consistent with Council direction in the 2023-26 Strategic Plan. It reflects a shared recognition that while Prince George has strong foundational assets, addressing challenges will require focused action, improved coordination, and sustained commitment.
The City of Prince George thanks the community members, employers, First Nations representatives, and partner organizations who contributed their time, perspectives, and local knowledge to inform the creation of the Economic Development Strategy.
