Correspondence to Council

Members of the public may submit correspondence to Council for consideration. Correspondence related to an item already scheduled on a Council agenda, including land use applications or other matters before Council, will be processed in accordance with the applicable agenda or public notice timelines. Formal correspondence that is not related to a scheduled agenda item may be considered for inclusion on a future Council agenda at the discretion of the City Manager. To be included on a formal Council agenda, correspondence must include the writer’s first and last name and residential street name. Correspondence submitted to Council becomes part of the public record and may be published on a Council agenda.

From time to time, members of the public contact the City to request formal acknowledgment for a local initiative, cause, occasion, person, or activity of significance.
